The Firebird Series is a small batch project to test combinations of ingredients for use in larger scale brews in the future. This inaugural beer is a partial mash bittered with Mosaic by using First Wort Hopping. The boil was back loaded with additional quantities of Mosaic and Chinook, as well as dry hopped with a combination of each. Add in some bitter orange peel and the result is an intense citrus flavor with a solid undercurrent of pine.
